Join us in making the WiMi Wish Ride benefiting Make-A-Wish Wisconsin and Make-A-Wish Michigan a success, from setup to tear down!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Set up and Tear Down

o Assist with setting up tents, banners, tables, and signage before the event. o Help break down and pack up equipment after the event ends. Registration and Check-in o Assist with participant check-in and ensure they have everything they need, such as bib numbers, and event materials. o Help answer any questions and direct participants to the starting area. o Registration and packet pickup will be Saturday, August 8 in the morning. Route Assistance and Safety o Travel the bike route in your vehicle to assist with minor repairs (e.g. flats) or transport riders who can’t make it the entire distance. o Guide cyclists along the correct path and ensuring they stay on course. Rest Stops and Hydration o Set up and manage water stations or rest stops where cyclists can refuel with snacks, drinks, and energy gels. Finish Line Support o Welcome riders as they cross the finish line, hand out medals or completion certificates, and offer water and snacks. Photography and Social Media o Capture photos or videos of participants, volunteers, and activities to promote the event. o Assist with updating social media or live streams to keep followers and donors engaged during the ride.
